Spare time activities in Regensburg

Regensburg is the nearest city to Regenstauf. In Regensburg you can go shopping in the old town where many different shops are or you can go to one of the big shopping centres. In Regensburg there is the DEZ (Donaueinkaufzentrum = Danube Shopping Centre), the Arcaden and the KÖWE-Center (Kumpfmühler Str. 50). You can also visit one of the two big cinemas in Regensburg. There is the little cinema named Regina. This cinema has only two rooms to watch a film. Regensburg has also got three swimming pools. One is called “Westbad” and it is open every day from 9 to 22 o’clock. The second one is an indoor swimming pool and it’s open from Monday to Friday 11 to 20 o’clock and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 to 16 o’clock. You can find this swimming pool in “Gabelsbergerstraße 14”. The third one is the “Wöhrdbad”. It is in “Lieblstraße 26” and it is only open from May to September, every day from 9 to 20 o’clock.
