Law for the protection of the youth in Germany

There’s a law for the protection of the youth in Germany.

If you want to drink any alcoholic drinks you have to consider some rules:

To the age of 14 you’re not allowed to buy any alcohol.

At the age of 16 you’re allowed to buy and drink alcoholic drinks like beer, wine and sparkling wine.

Alcoholic drinks with 30 % alcohol and more like schnapps and cocktails you only get at the age of 18.

For the nearly irrelevant case that you have got too much time in your German-lesson you can translate the complete law:


Jugendschutzgesetz (JuSchG)
Fassung vom 23.07.2002 (BGBl I, 2730), zuletzt geändert 13.10.2004 (BGBl I, 2600)
§ 4 JuSchG [Gaststätten]

(1) Der Aufenthalt in Gaststätten darf Kindern und Jugendlichen unter 16 Jahren nur gestattet werden, wenn eine personensorgeberechtigte oder erziehungsbeauftragte Person sie begleitet oder wenn sie in der Zeit zwischen 5 Uhr und 23 Uhr eine Mahlzeit oder ein Getränk einnehmen. Jugendlichen ab 16 Jahren darf der Aufenthalt in Gaststätten ohne Begleitung einer personensorgeberechtigten oder erziehungsbeauftragten Person in der Zeit von 24 Uhr und 5 Uhr morgens nicht gestattet werden.

(2) Absatz 1 gilt nicht, wenn Kinder oder Jugendliche an einer Veranstaltung eines anerkannten Trägers der Jugendhilfe teilnehmen oder sich auf Reisen befinden.

(3) Der Aufenthalt in Gaststätten, die als Nachtbar oder Nachtclub geführt werden, und in vergleichbaren Vergnügungsbetrieben darf Kindern und Jugendlichen nicht gestattet werden.

(4) Die zuständige Behörde kann Ausnahmen von Absatz 1 genehmigen.
§ 9 JuSchG [Alkoholische Getränke]

(1) In Gaststätten, Verkaufsstellen oder sonst in der Öffentlichkeit dürfen

1. 1. Branntwein, branntweinhaltige Getränke oder Lebensmittel, die Branntwein in nicht nur geringfügiger Menge enthalten, an Kinder und Jugendliche,
2. 2. andere alkoholische Getränke an Kinder und Jugendliche unter 16 Jahrenweder abgegeben noch darf ihnen der Verzehr gestattet werden.

(2) Absatz 1 Nr. 2 gilt nicht, wenn Jugendliche von einer personensorgeberechtigten Person begleitet werden.

(3) In der Öffentlichkeit dürfen alkoholische Getränke nicht in Automaten angeboten werden. Dies gilt nicht, wenn ein Automat

1. 1. an einem für Kinder und Jugendliche unzugänglichen Ort aufgestellt ist oder
2. 2. in einem gewerblich genutzten Raum aufgestellt und durch technische Vorrichtungen oder durch ständige Aufsicht sichergestellt ist, dass Kinder und Jugendliche alkoholische Getränke nicht entnehmen können. § 20 Nr. 1 des Gaststättengesetzes bleibt unberührt.

(4) Alkoholhaltige Süßgetränke im Sinne des § 1 Abs. 2 und 3 des Alkopopsteuergesetzes dürfen gewerbsmäßig nur mit dem Hinweis "Abgabe an Personen unter 18 Jahren verboten, § 9 Jugendschutzgesetz" in den Verkehr gebracht werden. Dieser Hinweis ist auf der Fertigpackung in der gleichen Schriftart und in der gleichen Größe und Farbe wie die Marken- oder Phantasienamen oder, soweit nicht vorhanden, wie die Verkehrsbezeichnung zu halten und bei Flaschen auf dem Frontetikett anzubringen.
§ 28 JuSchG Bußgeldvorschriften

(1) Ordnungswidrig handelt, wer als Veranstalter oder Gewerbetreibender vorsätzlich oder fahrlässig

1. entgegen § 3 Abs. 1 die für seine Betriebseinrichtung oder Veranstaltung geltenden Vorschriften nicht, nicht richtig oder nicht in der vorgeschriebenen Weise bekannt macht
2. entgegen § 3 Abs. 2 Satz 1 eine Kennzeichnung verwendet,
3. entgegen § 3 Abs. 2 Satz 2 einen Hinweis nicht, nicht richtig oder nicht rechtzeitig gibt,
4. entgegen § 3 Abs. 2 Satz 3 einen Hinweis gibt, einen Film oder ein Film- oder Spielprogramm ankündigt oder für einen Film oder ein Film- oder Spielprogramm wirbt,
5. entgegen § 4 Abs. 1 oder 3 einem Kind oder einer jugendlichen Person den Aufenthalt in einer Gaststätte gestattet,
6. entgegen § 5 Abs. 1 einem Kind oder einer jugendlichen Person die Anwesenheit bei einer öffentlichen Tanzveranstaltung gestattet,
7. entgegen § 6 Abs. 1 einem Kind oder einer jugendlichen Person die Anwesenheit in einer öffentlichen Spielhalle oder einem dort genannten Raum gestattet,
8. entgegen § 6 Abs. 2 einem Kind oder einer jugendlichen Person die Teilnahme an einem Spiel mit Gewinnmöglichkeit gestattet,
9. einer vollziehbaren Anordnung nach § 7 Satz 1 zuwiderhandelt,
10. entgegen § 9 Abs. 1 ein alkoholisches Getränk an ein Kind oder eine jugendliche Person abgibt oder ihm oder ihr den Verzehr gestattet,
11. entgegen § 9 Abs. 3 Satz 1 ein alkoholisches Getränk in einem Automaten anbietet,

11a. entgegen § 9 Abs. 4 alkoholhaltige Süßgetränke in den Verkehr bringt,

12. entgegen § 10 Abs. 1 Tabakwaren abgibt oder einem Kind oder einer jugendlichen Person unter 16 Jahren das Rauchen gestattet,
13. entgegen § 10 Abs. 2 Satz 1 Tabakwaren in einem Automaten anbietet,
14. entgegen § 11 Abs. 1 oder 3, jeweils auch in Verbindung mit Abs. 4 Satz 2, einem Kind oder einer jugendlichen Person die Anwesenheit bei einer öffentlichen Filmveranstaltung, einem Werbevorspann oder einem Beiprogramm gestattet,

14a. entgegen § 11 Abs. 5 einen Werbefilm oder ein Werbeprogramm vorführt,

15. entgegen § 12 Abs. 1 einem Kind oder einer jugendlichen Person einen Bildträger zugänglich macht,
16. entgegen § 12 Abs. 3 Nr. 2 einen Bildträger anbietet oder überlässt,
17. entgegen § 12 Abs. 4 oder § 13 Abs. 2 einen Automaten oder ein Bildschirmspielgerät aufstellt,
18. entgegen § 12 Abs. 5 Satz 1 einen Bildträger vertreibt,
19. entgegen § 13 Abs. 1 einem Kind oder einer jugendlichen Person das Spielen an Bildschirmspielgeräten gestattet oder
20. entgegen § 15 Abs. 6 einen Hinweis nicht, nicht richtig oder nicht rechtzeitig gibt.

(2) Ordnungswidrig handelt, wer als Anbieter vorsätzlich oder fahrlässig

1. entgegen § 12 Abs. 2 Satz 1 Nr. 1, auch in Verbindung mit Abs. 5 Satz 3 oder § 13 Abs. 3, einen Hinweis nicht, nicht richtig oder nicht in der vorgeschriebenen Weise gibt,
2. einer vollziehbaren Anordnung nach § 12 Abs. 2 Satz 2, auch in Verbindung mit Abs. 5 Satz 3 oder § 13 Abs. 3, oder nach § 14 Abs. 7 Satz 3 zuwiderhandelt,
3. entgegen § 12 Abs. 5 Satz 2 einen Hinweis nicht, nicht richtig, nicht in der vorgeschriebenen Weise oder nicht rechtzeitig anbringt oder
4. entgegen § 14 Abs. 7 Satz 1 einen Film oder ein Film- oder Spielprogramm mit "Infoprogramm" oder "Lehrprogramm" kennzeichnet.

(3) Ordnungswidrig handelt, wer vorsätzlich oder fahrlässig1. entgegen § 12 Abs. 2 Satz 3 einen Hinweis nicht, nicht richtig oder nicht in der vorgeschriebenen Weise gibt oder entgegen § 24 Abs. 5 Satz 2 eine Mitteilung verwendet.

(4) Ordnungswidrig handelt, wer als Person über 18 Jahren ein Verhalten eines Kindes oder einer jugendlichen Person herbeiführt oder fördert, das durch ein in Absatz 1 Nr. 5 bis 8, 10, 12, 14 bis 16 oder 19 oder in § 27 Abs. 1 Nr. 1 oder 2 bezeichnetes oder in § 12 Abs. 3 Nr. 1 enthaltenes Verbot oder durch eine vollziehbare Anordnung nach § 7 Satz 1 verhindert werden soll. Hinsichtlich des Verbots in § 12 Abs. 3 Nr. 1 gilt dies nicht für die personensorgeberechtigte Person und für eine Person, die im Einverständnis mit der personensorgeberechtigten Person handelt.

(5) Die Ordnungswidrigkeit kann mit einer Geldbuße bis zu fünfzigtausend Euro geahndet werden.

Spare time activities in Regensburg

Regensburg is the nearest city to Regenstauf. In Regensburg you can go shopping in the old town where many different shops are or you can go to one of the big shopping centres. In Regensburg there is the DEZ (Donaueinkaufzentrum = Danube Shopping Centre), the Arcaden and the KÖWE-Center (Kumpfmühler Str. 50). You can also visit one of the two big cinemas in Regensburg. There is the little cinema named Regina. This cinema has only two rooms to watch a film. In the internet you can visit the German site of the cinema Regina under this address: http://www.reginakino.de . There you can check the cinema programme, too. But if you think this cinema is too small you can also go to the CineMaxx. It’s the second and much bigger cinema in Regensburg. The address of the CineMaxx in the internet is:

But if you are more interested in the history of the city you can go and visit the cathedral of Regensburg or you go to one of the museums. You can have a short overlook in the paper the named museum or you visit the German internet side http://www.museen.regensburg.de/museen/index.html .

Regensburg has also got three swimming pools. One is called “Westbad” and it is open every day from 9 to 22 o’clock. You can visit the site from the Westbad under: http://www.westbad.de/start.php and it’s in “Messerschmittstraße 4”. The second one is an indoor swimming pool and it’s open from Monday to Friday 11 to 20 o’clock and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 to 16 o’clock. You can find this swimming pool in “Gabelsbergerstraße 14”. The third one is the “Wöhrdbad”. It is in “Lieblstraße 26” and it is only open from May to September, every day from 9 to 20 o’clock.

You can also go climbing, bowling and visit a fitness centre. you find a big sport centre in Obertraubling. You can find it in “Ernst-Frenzel-Str. 14”. There you can climb, play tennis, badminton and squash.

The Regenstaufer airport and his little restaurant

The Regenstauf airport called "Oberhub" is about 4km away from the north-west of Regenstauf and about 18km from the north of Regensburg...
The coordinates of the airport are: 49 08 30,4 N 12 04 53,7 E and the taxiway is about 725m long...

In the year 1961 Regensburg sold the airport to a company called SIEMENS and "Oberhub" also was one of the first airports in Bavaria.
The airport also has a little restaurant which is opened daily...
